Visitors from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
On Thursday 25th of October, the students of Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology visited our Togitsu office and factories, as part of “Japan-Asia youth Exchange Program in Science” (common name: “SAKURA Exchange Program in Science”) of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
This program aims to provide Asian excellent youth the knowledge and experiences related to the advanced water treatment technology through short visit to Japan.
On that day, with the aim of focusing on the project’s theme of “challenging Vietnamese water pollution and water resource shortage by using the advanced water treatment technology (i.e. membrane filtration) of Japan”, we introduced our membrane filtration technologies and water treatment products like seawater desalination equipment and oil-containing wastewater treatment equipment, etc.
And then we showed our factories which are the site of manufacturing in Japan to them.
ＪＳＴの「日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業」で、ベトナムの学生が来訪されました
平成30年10月25日（木）、科学技術振興機構（ＪＳＴ）の「日本・アジア青少年サイエンス交流事業」（通称「さくらサイエンスプラン」）の一環として、 ベトナム国家大学ホーチミン市校工科大学の環境自然資源学部の学生の方々が、当社時津事業所を来訪されました。 本事業は、産学官の緊密な連携により、優秀なアジア地域の青少年が日本を短期に訪問し、未来を担うアジア地域と日本の青少年が科学技術の分野で交流を深めることを目的としたものです。
当日は、交流計画のテーマ「日本の最先端膜分離技術を使ってベトナムの水環境汚染や水資源不足に挑む」ことを主眼に、 当社が誇る膜処理技術の紹介とともに、含油廃水処理装置や海水淡水化装置などの水処理製品の説明をさせて頂きました。 また、工場へ案内し、日本のものづくりの現場を見学して頂きました。
